Welcome to My Website!
Hi! First, I want to congratulate you for taking the initiative to start a new journey in your life. This chapter of your life, may be a difficult one. However, by you being here, you are demonstrating that you are ready for a change. Making the decision to get counseling support is not easy. You have to make sure the therapist style and the therapist is what you are looking for. I hope that I will be with you through every step of your journey. Let’s just make sure we are a fit.
I work with substance abuse and recovery, marriage and family, relationship issues, domestic violence recovery, trauma, abuse, recovery through movement, exercise, sports and activity and identity concerns. I offer a safe space for my clients to talk openly and honestly to me about whatever your concerns are.
My approach to counseling is humanistic-interpersonal and change-based. This means that you and I will work together to find thoughts, feelings and patterns that no longer serve you. We then will work to create healthier new coping strategies, ways of thinking and new behavioral patterns. Let's discover the best you at your pace.
Therapy is all about you. By you taking this step forward, you are acknowledging that you are ready and feel empowered enough to change the current direction of the path you are on. Being a licensed marriage and family therapist, it is my duty to help you discover the best you, that you can be. Some changes will happen quickly, and some will take a bit more time. We will take your therapy as fast or as slow as you need to go.
My therapeutic specializations are: recovery, cognitive and behavioral change, and adopting healthier strategies. I can do individual, couples and family therapy. I am compassionate, understanding, empathetic and patient. If your interests have been piqued, please don’t hesitate to set up an initial appointment and let’s begin our journey together.
